Once Winter Comes

I’m going to have that mixtape, nothing serious just something I’ve been thinking about doing for fun.

Lesson Learned Outside the Classroom.

I had this talk with my friend not to long ago about high school. He asked me how was the college life and if I keep contact with all of my friends. I just had to briefly explain to him that friends come and go, because everyone grows up and goes their separate ways. Either go to colleges away from where you live, join the service, or even pretend like they don’t even know you. My best advice was to be happy with your friends now, because when you get older those will be the memories you will never forget. His question made me realize, that I should be happy, value the friends that I made over the years and how the people who aren’t friends with me lost something valuable. I miss the friends that are away, miss the friendships that I had, and grateful for the friends made.

Still got friends to make, and maybe some friends to lose. Life goes on.
